Greenpark prides itself on running an excellent Grade R facility (previously known as Grade 0) and offers children an environment where they can develop to their full potential in the areas which matter the most, namely Physical, Social, Emotional and Intellectual. Our Grade R group feeds into the local schools, both Private and Government, and our children are well prepared and equipped to handle the challenges of Primary School.

Snacktime

The school provides a healthy mid-morning snack. This consists of a brown bread sandwich and either fruit or popcorn and juice. In Summer our Friday treat is sprinkle sandwiches, and in Winter we enjoy hot tea and rusks. We do not supply Kosher or Halaal catering. Parents do not need to provide snacks – however, if your child is staying for aftercare or an extramural activity, you may send a snack lunch. Ice-lollies are for sale after school on Mondays for R7.00, and on Fridays, children can buy a slice of pizza for R15.00.

Parents Association
Greenpark Nursery School is administered and owned by the Greenpark Nursery School’s Parent Association. It is duly incorporated and not for gain. Parents of the children at the school become members of the association. This membership entitles them to vote at all general meetings. The articles of association allow the committee to vary the school fees at their discretion. No claim for the refund of school fees can be entertained and at least one term of written notice, prior to the end of term, must be given if your child will be leaving the school. If these requirements are not met, you will become liable for the payment of the following terms fees in lieu of late notice.
Absenteeism
If your child is sick or will be absent for any reason, please notify the school. A call to our secretary Nola is suitable. Please do not send your children to school if they are unwell, it is unfair to the other children as well as their teachers.
